Transfer rumors, news: Chelsea eye Zubimendi as Enzo Fernández replacement

- Arsenal are open to letting Martín Zubimendi leave after signing Bruno Guimarães, with Chelsea emerging as strong candidates to sign the Spain midfielder, according to TEAMtalk. The Gunners aren't desperate to offload the 27-year-old, though, and they are asking for at least £77 million having signed him for around £60 million last summer. Zubimendi is seen as a good fit for Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso and would become a particularly attractive option if Manchester City target Enzo Fernández leaves Stamford Bridge this summer. Sources have told ESPN that Chelsea have set a Friday deadline for any clubs wishing to meet their £120 million ($161.8m) valuation of the Argentina international, and that City hold an interest in him.

- Chelsea have joined Crystal Palace, Liverpool and Manchester United in looking at Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara, Footmercato reports. Monaco have already seen Maghnes Akliouche join Paris Saint-Germain and Folarin Balogun has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, but there could be another big-name departure for the Ligue 1 club. Even so, their €50 million valuation for Camara would need to be met, while the Blues would have to offload one or two midfielders before making a move.

- Liverpool remain in negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain to reach an agreement regarding Bradley Barcola and will do so until deadline day, according to Florian Plettenberg. The Reds are confident that they can complete a deal for the 23-year-old, who didn't make it onto the pitch at all during Les Parisiens' 2-1 win over Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup. Rio Ngumoha is likely to predominantly be used on the right wing if Barcola joins.

- Ezri Konsa would find a move to Arsenal attractive, but Aston Villa are fighting to keep the defender, Football Insider reports. The versatile defender has been linked with interest from the Premier League champions, who will be without key center back William Saliba for some time after the France international suffered a back injury at the FIFA World Cup, while right back Jurriën Timber missed the tournament for Netherlands with a groin injury. England international Konsa, 28, has two years left on his contract at Villa Park.

- Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones is still a priority for Internazionale and they believe that a deal could be completed for €35 million, according to Fabrizio Romano. However, the Serie A champions will need to offload Davide Frattesifirst, with Juventus a possible destination for the Italy international.
